Ludlow Street Healthcare is an innovative, rapidly-expanding organisation that provides specialist care, education and treatment services for individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs and other specialist care needs.
We are currently recruiting for a part time (18.5 hours) Occupational Therapy Technician for our Pinetree Court site based in Cardiff. As an Occupational Therapy Technician you will design, plan and deliver a range of prescribed therapeutic programs to both groups and individuals. You will be required to assess, evaluate and report on the client using a framework applied within Occupational Therapy Services and to develop a rapport with individuals to assess their needs.
To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate general skills such as gardening, arts, crafts and other practical activities. You must also be qualified in NVQ 3 Health and Social Care or have a health related qualification at this level.
This post requires evening and weekend work; shifts are 4-9pm. If successful, your appointment will be subject to an enhanced CRB check.
