Are you an immediately available candidate with an IT support background and a common sense approach? Do you work well as part of a small team in a varied and fast paced environment? We are looking to recruit a competent candidate, initially on a temporary basis, who can act as a strong IT support technician for our Newport based client. With excellent communication skills and a great attitude towards work and the workplace, the successful candidate will have experience in:
-1st and 2nd line support
-Troubleshooting hardware and software technologies
-Providing both remote and on site technical support
-Ensuring network connectivity of all workstations
-Administering hardware and software upgrades
- Performing system backups and recovery
- C.I.S.C.O
- IP addressing and TCP/IP networking
-Active Directory
-Windows Server (2003/8)
This is an excellent opportunity for a Technician to broaden and update their skills if seeking a permanent role.
