1st/2nd Line Support IT Technician

£8-8.50 p/h (equiv. £16,500 p/a)
We are looking to recruit a competent temporary candidate who can act as a strong IT support technician for out client. With excellent communication skills and a great attitude towards work and the workplace, your duties will include:
- Manage all network hardware and equipment, including routers, core and edge switches, backup devices, and UPS’s
- Ensure network connectivity of all workstations
- Administer hardware and software upgrades
- Support the administration of end user accounts, permissions and access rights
- Perform system backups and recovery
- Recommend, schedule, and perform network improvements, upgrades, and repairs
- DNS servers
- C.I.S.C.O
- IP addressing and TCP/IP networking
The successful candidate will be a highly motivated temp with a very keen eye for detail, capable of working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, who can give1st/2nd line support to users both off and on site- a real all rounder!
