Electrical / Electronic Development Engineers – South Wales
We are looking for electronic engineers to join our South Wales based client to help manage and upgrade current products, and design innovative products for the world market.
Desired:
• Ability to calibrate and test electrical / electronic equipment
• Ability to design and build simple test equipment
• Familiarity with EMC requirements, ATEX intrinsic safety requirements, and knowledge of ISO9001:2008, ISO standards etc.
Required:
• Degree qualified
• Self-motivated
• PC literate (main software packages currently being used are Microsoft Office, EasyPC, FastCAD, AutoCAD, Visual Basic, C++)
• Understand technical drawings
• Have the ability to debug to component level on microprocessor based measurement systems.
• Possess the ability to calculate the design parameters from first principles as required.
• Have the ability to carry out engineering changes including locating alternate devices for obsolete parts.
