Job Description
As a Web Developer for Becoming Green Ltd, your primary focus will be the maintenance and ongoing development of our website platform, whilst also developing our in-house applications.
To be successful in your application you will be customer-focused in your developments, and you will have an understanding and experience of data integration and manipulation using XML Web Services and flat files.
Whilst we are seeking a Web Developer with strong technical ability, formal qualifications are not essential. Previous experience as a Web Developer in a commercial environment would be advantageous.
The Candidate:
To apply for this position, you must have a very strong knowledge of PHP and ideally have a working knowledge in all of the following:
- PHP 5 / OOP
- MySQL
- JavaScript / jQuery / AJAX
- HTML / XHTML / CSS
- XML Web Services
It’s also advantageous if you have experience using PHP frameworks and Social Media
