Job Elements: -
• In conjunction with the Manufacturing Team Leaders, use multi-disciplinary teams to facilitate and drive all Production related process improvement activities ensuring that maximum benefits for both the company and its workforce are achieved in line with specific business KPI’s.
• Review and where appropriate introduce new improved methods of manufacture
• To conduct early equipment reviews on new plant and layout changes
• To assist Team leaders in improving skill levels of team members where change has been made
• To support the introduction of new products and processes by assisting in the creation of work instructions
• To assist in assessing feasibility on new business opportunities
• To produce monthly status reports for management review
• To be responsible for the Maintenance of equipment (inc. Maintenance Technician)
The ideal candidate will have:
• Ideally you will be educated to degree level in a relevant engineering subject
• Ideally experience of working in a TS 16949 and ISO14001 environment
• Ability to develop and implement innovative solutions
• Self motivated
• Team player
• Ability to communicate at all levels
