NURSERY NURSE, Cardiff
£6.50-£7.50+ per hour
Main Responsibilities
Nursery nurse (female) required for child care unit in a residential home for women. Work includes providing child care in the nursery, advising/teaching motehrs about parenting skills, key working for named children, monitoring and assisting them with their development and offering support to mothers. Providing an opportunity to learn new skills in a professional environment with supervision, support and training provided.
Skills and Experience
Must be qualified to NNEB / CACHE 3 with mimimum 5 years experience with 2 years at a senior level.

Working hours
35 hours / week between 08:30 and 17:00 (Mon-Fri with occassional weekend work by arrangement)

The 4 to 6 months rehabilitation programme for women and women with childrenmothers includes therapeutic intervention as well as teaching life and parenting skills. Children below school age are cared for in our in-house nursery whilst mothers attend their programme 09.00 – 16.00 Monday – Friday.
