Job Elements: -
• Fully manage the sales process with the objective of maximising sales revenue and building long term customer relationships, in conjunction with any regional team members, in your assigned region.
• Ensure responsiveness to customer requests at all times, even when this may not be directly related to your primary role.
• An expectation that you will spend around 50% of your available time, visiting the customers and potential customers in your region.
• Contribute a relative share of the annual order intake.
• Promptly pursue sales leads generated by advertising, incoming calls, trade journals, colleagues etc.
• Prepare quotations and assist in preparation of proposals as required.
• Ensure that you are always equipped to respond to customer requests, especially when travelling, in terms of product literature, presentations, demonstration equipment etc.
• Produce detailed visit reports within a reasonable period of time following a visit.
• Produce annual travel plan with regular monthly updates.
• Produce monthly input to the forecasting process including:.
• Attend exhibitions and conferences as and when requested.
• Provide marketing information as to customer requirements, regional trends, competitors, etc.
• Liaise with Customer Support to ensure effective post-sales support. At all times be aware as to the current support status of the customs within your area of geographic responsibility.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Highly self-motivated and the ability to work without supervision.
• Must be prepared to travel throughout the World.
The ideal candidate will have:
• Relevant sales experience and proven track record in the Aerospace Industry, and the ability to demonstrate competence to successfully carry out the requirements of the role.
• Hold a current driving licence
• Engineering Degree
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Highly self-motivated and the ability to work without supervision.
• Must be prepared to travel throughout the World.
